As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will oversee labor, materials, and equipment throughout the execution and completion of projects. You will be at the forefront of managing essential resources, ensuring that every project is executed flawlessly. Your expertise is the key to unlocking new levels of excellence!


In this position, you will assist in analyzing work plans to ensure that the stockroom is balanced and that all materials, equipment, tools, and supplies necessary to complete work plans are available. Your responsibilities include completing adjustments to stocked materials, equipment, tools, and supplies as work plans change based on needs and time of year. You will also assist in reviewing and analyzing data from the Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) Plant Maintenance and AO to ensure program goals are achieved and overall systems control is maintained.


Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • This position may require overtime and shift work. Work hours subject to change based on seasonal requirements and operational needs.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $39,785.00 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • One year of experience as a Technical Assistant (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent; or
  • An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
