Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and five or more years environmental experience.
• Experience negotiating RUAs, ROEs, and railroad crossing agreements.
• Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as utmost priority.
• Experience coordinating with local/state agencies and railroad representatives; comfortable presenting at public meetings

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes roadway/railroad permitting strategies for power innovation projects, aligning schedule, constructability, and compliance needs.
• Partners with Engineering Project Managers, Environmental Permit Managers, and consultants to identify site public road crossings and access points for safe installation and maintenance.
• Plans contractor haul routes and access logistics, considering weight-restricted roads/bridges and local constraints.
• Interfaces with local and state agencies to align traffic engineering, public safety, roadway conditions and maintenance.
