Job summary

Warren Paving, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Laborer’s Assistant to support road, highway, and parking lot paving projects. You will assist the asphalt crew, shovel, rake, flag, and handle materials under the Foreman’s guidance to meet daily schedules.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (GED preferred) and at least two years of asphalt crew experience. Willingness to travel, overtime, nights, and weekends is expected; safety gear must be worn at all times.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required or preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with asphalt crews preferred.
• Must be able to work with a safety-first mindset and follow PPE policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist asphalt crew with paving roadways, highways, parking lots, and driveways.
• Shovel, rake, and flag as directed by Foreman.
• Dig, spread, and level construction materials.
• Lift and move materials, tools, and supplies.
• Follow traffic control directions and safety procedures.
• Work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime when required.
