Construction Masters Services and Summit Flagging in Reading, PA is seeking a Paving Operator to operate heavy machinery to lay, spread, level and compact asphalt and other paving materials on roads, bridges, parking lots and driveways.

You will prepare sites, unload materials, inspect equipment, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with teammates on a busy construction site while following safety regulations.

Competenze

• Extensive knowledge of heavy machinery operation and capabilities.
• Excellent mechanical skills are necessary.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read gauges, dials and other indicator, and adjust them as necessary.
• You must be able to coordinate your actions with those of other workers on a busy construction site.
• Must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• The ability to understand and communicate information.
• Must be able to do basic math.

Mansioni

• Operate heavy machinery to lay, spread, level, and compact asphalt or paving materials.
• Prepare construction sites for paving and unload or deliver materials to the site.
• Identify faults in equipment and perform minor repairs.
• Adhere to safety regulations and report hazards to supervisor.
• Carry out routine maintenance on equipment.
• Perform Laborer duties when operation of equipment is not needed.
• Coordinate movements with other workers on a busy site.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
