City of Richmond Department of Public Works is seeking qualified candidates for the Mason position in the Roadway Division. The incumbent performs masonry duties and related tasks, including laying brick, concrete, and asphalt for sidewalks, roadways, and retention structures.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, with two years of masonry experience. Preferred candidates have CDL, equipment operation experience, and a valid Virginia driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Perform skilled masonry work to lay brick, concrete, and asphalt for sidewalks, roadways, and retention structures.
• Place, smooth, and finish concrete surfaces.
• Perform daily equipment and vehicle inspections.
• Estimate material quantities for jobs.
• Operate equipment to complete planned jobs.
• Load and unload required equipment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
