Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of grounds keeping or related experience.
• Must possess a valid Georgia Driver’s License.
• Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance on city rights-of-way.
• Litter removal and illegal dumping cleanup.
• Assist with concrete installations.
• Dig trenches and clean catch basins.
• Clear debris from roadways.
• Operate city vehicles and equipment; conduct pre-/post-trip inspections.
• Patching potholes with asphalt or gravel.
• Flag traffic at construction and maintenance projects.
• Respond to inclement weather removal.
• Maintain safety standards and use protective equipment.
