North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) is seeking Transportation Worker I to operate tools and equipment for road maintenance and construction. The role involves working in challenging weather, managing safety in work zones, and assisting with snow/ice removal across Division 14 locations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to obtain/possess a CDL within 360 days, and comply with pre-employment drug testing.

Qualificações

• Experience operating power tools such as chainsaw, weed eater, skill saw, drill, compactor, jackhammer, etc.
• Experience performing manual labor and operating related equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tools and equipment used in road maintenance and construction.
• Inspect work zones, ensure safety, and assist with sign installation as needed.
• Assist with snow and ice removal and other seasonal maintenance tasks.
