Job summary

Ferrovial is seeking a Roadway Maintenance Technician to operate equipment and perform highway maintenance along the North Texas corridor. You will transport materials, inspect equipment, and assist in repairs while supervising junior staff as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, 0–3+ years in maintenance, CDL Class A within 12 months, and willingness to work variable shifts in challenging weather and heavy machinery environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–3+ years of experience in maintenance or construction.
• Willingness to obtain CDL Class A license within 12 months.
• Experience with construction vehicles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operates assigned automotive and construction equipment such as tractors, mowers, sweepers, plow trucks, and related machinery.
• Inspects equipment for proper operating condition, performs minor repairs, and lubricates as needed.
• Performs snow and ice control, traffic control, pavement repair, painting, and barrier repairs.
• Provides landscaping, debris and animal removal from roadways.
• Repairs signs, bridges, and guardrails; responds to incidents on the roadway.
• Performs additional duties as required by supervision.
