MoDOT in Missouri is seeking a maintenance worker to perform routine, entry-level duties related to the upkeep of state roadways and facilities under direct supervision. Position may require overtime, night work, and occasional emergency response, including winter operations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
• Valid Driver's License is required.
• CDL with tanker endorsement is required.
• Interstate status (EI or NI) within 60 days after hire.
• Must pass a work simulation and a medical-physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, patch potholes, and manage traffic control devices.
• Repair and maintain state highway facilities, signs, guardrails, curbs, and gutters.
• Operate vehicles to transport employees, equipment, and materials; plow snow and spread ice.
• May repair bridges and drainage, and work at heights with ladders/scaffolding.
• Install/repair signs, posts, and related structural components.
