Job summary

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking a Maintenance Worker for Clinton Maintenance Facility to perform routine, entry-level duties under supervision and maintain the state's roadways and facilities. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Valid Driver's License; CDL tanker endorsement with constraints to be met within 60 days after hire.
• Successful completion of work simulation and medical-physical examinations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems and roadways, including pothole patching and traffic control.
• Repair and maintain highway facilities, signs, guardrails, curbs, gutters, and equipment.
• Operate vehicles to transport personnel and materials, and perform snow plowing and ice control tasks.
• May install signs and contribute to bridge, drainage, and sign post maintenance.
