Job summary

The Town of Wellesley is seeking a full-time Highway Maintenance Worker for the Highway Division. The incumbent operates vehicles and equipment; performs skilled, semi-skilled and unskilled labor on streets, sidewalks, catch basins, etc.; and participates in snow removal, ice control, standby, emergency, and call-in duty.

Qualifications

• Valid MA Class D license required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain Hoisting Engineer’s Licenses 1C and 2C within six months of hire.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written and verbal instructions; use hand and power tools.
