Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC in Georgia is seeking a skilled Highway Maintenance Technician to perform a range of on-road maintenance tasks under supervision. You will assist with culvert cleaning, mowing, pothole patching, storm cleanup, fence repair, litter removal, and general road maintenance using hand and power tools.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, be at least 18 years old, a valid driver's license with 3 years' clean driving history, and the ability to

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving history.
Able to work in adverse weather conditions and lift moderately heavy objects.
Able to bend, climb, stand, stoop or walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

Clean and clear culverts.
Mowing, and clearing brush from roadsides.
Patching broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
Assist in storm cleanup.
Fence and sign repair.
Litter/debris removal.
Emergency response.
Operate equipment used in Highway Maintenance.
Use hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, etc.
Use power tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers, etc.
