Job summary

DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC is seeking a Highway Maintenance Technician to perform highway maintenance tasks under supervision with training in routine maintenance. The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ years old, and a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.

You will work in various weather conditions and operate common road maintenance tools. Key duties include culvert cleaning, mowing, patching pavements, storm cleanup, fence and sign repair, litter

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving.
• Able to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Able to lift moderately heavy objects.
• Be able to bend, climb, stand, stoop, or walk for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Clean and clear culverts.
• Mow and clear brush from roadsides.
• Patch broken or eroded pavements and shoulders.
• Assist in storm cleanup.
• Repair fences and signs.
• Remove litter and debris.
• Respond to emergencies.
• Operate equipment used in highway maintenance.
• Use hand tools (shovels, rakes, brooms).
• Use power tools (chainsaws, pole saws, weed eaters, backpack blowers).
