Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a work simulation and medical-physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Maintain state highway systems, including traffic control devices and patching potholes.
• Operate vehicles to transport crew, equipment, and materials; assist with snow plowing and ice control.
• May repair bridge decks and signs; install and maintain signs and sign posts.
• Work outdoors with exposure to hazardous conditions and heavy traffic; respond to emergencies as needed.
