Qualifications

• No education required.
• Experience for Transportation Maintenance Tech: TMT I = No experience required; TMT II = 1 year experience.
• Experience must be in transportation engineering support, roadway maintenance, construction inspection, heavy equipment operation, or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying, repairing and installing signs, delineators, mailbox supports and posts; welding as needed.
• Assist with traffic control; place and gather cones, signs and barricades; flag traffic.
• Maintain highways and rights-of-way; perform roadway repairs and guard rails.
