Qualifications

• Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varied weather conditions.
• Must pass CDL written portion within 90 days and driving portion within 180 days.

Responsibilities

• Maintain control of grass and weeds by mowing using large tractors and gang mowers.
• Operate single-axle dump truck for highway construction or maintenance materials.
• Use power tools and small hand tools for highway repairs.
• Load, unload, and stack bags of salt, sand, cement, chemicals, etc.
• Flag traffic and assist with setting up, moving and taking down signs and cones for work zones.
• Respond to emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week as needed.
