Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Comply with INDOT Safety Policy and Procedures.
• Assign work to units ensuring materials and equipment are available.
• Ensure effective utilization of personnel, time, and equipment for each task.
• Provide supervision to a unit or group of employees and explain programs affecting the work.
• Oversee operation and maintenance to meet work orders on schedule with minimal disruptions.
• Support Winter operations including snow/ice removal and district brine/equipment maintenance.
• Assist with implementation and improvement of operational programs and project planning.
• Recruit, select, onboard and train employees; support professional development.
• Set expectations, measure progress, provide feedback, and evaluate performance.
• Attendance at assigned worksite is essential.
