The role involves directing operations, ensuring quality, and maintaining equipment and materials on site. The ideal candidate has a CDL Class A with tanker endorsement and at least five years of highway maintenance experience, plus the ability to manage field crews in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and interstate status.
• At least five years of highway maintenance or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads crews during maintenance operations and trains crew members.
• Operates highway maintenance equipment (tractors, dozers, loaders, trucks, graders, snowplows).
• Oversees material usage and may prepare reports; assists in maintaining employee records.
• Oversees routine maintenance of equipment, buildings and grounds.
• Inspects bridges and roadways to determine maintenance needs and progress.
