Job summary

MoDOT seeks a Maintenance Crew Leader to supervise and train a highway maintenance crew. You'll oversee field operations, equipment use, and reporting on materials and workforce. The role involves inspecting bridges and roadways and ensuring safety across projects.

Qualified candidates need a Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and five years of maintenance experience, plus the ability to pass medical and performance exams. This is a full-time, on-site position at MoDOT facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED/HiSET is required.
• Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement and interstate status (EI or NI).
• Five years of roadway/roadside/bridge or sign maintenance experience required.
• Must pass a work simulation exam and a medical-physical exam.

Responsibilities

• Leads crews during maintenance operations, including setting up work zones, mowing, patching, overlaying, grading, sealing, cleaning ditches, mudjacking, replacing concrete, repairing bridge decks, removing snow, maintaining signs and striping roadways.
