Qualifications

  • Three (3) years of related experience in construction, maintenance, or repairs of roadways.
  • Valid state driver's license; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate tractors, loaders, dozers, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
  • Perform pre- and post- vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks.
  • Assist or oversee flaggers and monitor traffic during repairs per TMUTCD standards.
  • Maintain records of mileage, hours, materials, and equipment destinations.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and ensure compliance with standards for roads and drainage.
  • Direct traffic at construction sites and perform related general maintenance duties.
