The position requires flexibility for shifts, night work, overtime, and travel within the district. A high school diploma and a valid Florida driver’s license are required, along with the ability to obtain MOT/Flagger certification.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 23 years old per company insurance requirements.
• Must possess an active and valid Florida driver’s license with no restrictions and pass MVR check.
• Exposure to light equipment like skid steers and excavators.
• Ability to obtain MOT or Flagger certification within company timelines.
• Willing and able to travel within the assigned district; live within reasonable response time preferred.
• Must pass Drug and Alcohol Policy; pre-employment and random testing; background check may be required.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment in construction or related environments.

• Operate equipment such as skid steers, excavators, and forklifts following safety guidelines.
• Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance checks.
• Identify and report mechanical issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow project plans and supervisor instructions to perform tasks accurately.
• Maintain clear communication with team to coordinate movements and site safety.
• Document hours operated and maintenance activities; report anomalies.
• Stay on-call during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
