Maricopa County is seeking an Equipment Operator to drive and manage light- to heavy-equipment used in road and bridge projects. The role supports maintenance of right-of-way and requires operating various trucks and equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus a valid AZ CDL class A with tanker endorsement. Two+ years routing and construction experience are valued.

Competenze

• One year of experience operating trucks and equipment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• A valid Arizona Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement.

Mansioni

• Operate a variety of trucks and equipment in accordance with all safety regulations and procedures.
• Haul materials and transport vehicles and equipment to job sites using various trucks.
• Perform manual labor assignments as needed.
• Inspect, clean, and perform routine maintenance work on trucks and equipment; identify and report mechanical problems requiring additional repair.
• Complete required daily logs and prepare reports; attend safety meetings.
• Complete daily written reports and enter information into the Cartegraph asset management system.
• Perform traffic control activities as needed; report safety hazards and traffic problems.
• Performs other duties as assigned
