Job summary

Horrocks is seeking an Engineer-In-Training for Roadway in Meridian, ID. You will support project engineers with civil design tasks across transportation projects, applying MicroStation ORD and Autodesk Civil 3D, and performing related calculations.

Ideal candidates have an EIT or are pursuing certification within 6–12 months, 0–4+ years in civil design, and a readiness to travel and perform fieldwork as needed. The role offers a competitive salary and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and EIT or EIT within 6–12 months.
• 0–4+ years civil design experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Ability to perform design and documentation using MicroStation ORD or Civil 3D.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Engineers with design tasks for various projects.
• Perform civil design calculations and interpret plans from other disciplines.
• Collaborate with project team on standard and non-standard projects.
• Maintain project data files and ensure timely delivery of work.
• Adhere to safety standards and deliver error-free work.
