Job summary

Horrocks is seeking an Engineer-In-Training for Roadway in Reno, NV. You will support transportation projects, assist engineers with design tasks, and contribute to calculations and plan interpretation. Entry-level candidates with an EIT are encouraged to apply.

The role emphasizes collaboration, safety, and delivering accurate, timely work within a team. Travel to field sites is possible as projects require.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering and EIT credential required.
• 0–4+ years of civil design experience preferred; entry-level considered.
• Fundamentals of Engineering Exam passed.
• Ability to develop designs and documentation using standard design software.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks.
• Perform civil design calculations and interpret plans from related disciplines.
• Apply technical expertise and work with project teams on diverse projects.
• Perform independent research and adjust priorities as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards and deliver error-free work.
