Job summary

American Structurepoint’s Road Group in Cleveland, OH is seeking a Road Intern to support roadway design for ODOT and local agencies. You will learn and assist with design calculations, quantity takeoffs, and construction plan sets.

You will prepare design documentation and construction cost estimates using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer (ORD), and gain hands-on experience across a wide range of transportation projects in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Must be a student majoring in Civil Engineering or related program.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Demonstrates strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway design by doing design calculations and quantity/cost estimates.
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and ORD, MicroStation and related tools.
• Work on diverse projects from interstates to urban streets across Ohio.
• Other duties as assigned.
