American Structurepoint, Inc. invites motivated Civil Engineering students to join its Road Group in Cleveland, with hands-on design work on Ohio roadway projects. You will assist with plan sets, quantity takeoffs, and cost estimates, gaining exposure to ORD and other design tools.

Qualifications

• Student majoring in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Transportation, Hydraulics, or a related program with a focus on Civil Engineering.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, willingness to take on new challenges, and a collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway design by working on design calculations, roadway layouts, drainage analysis, plan production, and quantity and cost estimates
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and work with tools like MicroStation/GEOPAK, Bluebeam, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Get involved in a wide variety of projects- everything from roundabouts and urban streets to rural roads, drainage improvements, and large interstate projects
• Other duties as assigned
