Job summary

Horrocks is seeking an Engineer-In-Training for Roadway in Logan, UT to support transportation projects with design tasks and calculations. You will work with Project Managers and Engineers, develop designs using MicroStation ORD, and apply engineering standards while traveling for fieldwork as needed.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required (EIT).
• FE exam passed or in progress preferred.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to develop designs and documentation using MicroStation ORD or equivalent.
• Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Engineers with engineering design tasks.
• Perform civil engineering design and calculations and interpret plans from other disciplines.
• Apply technical expertise within a project team on various projects.
• Conduct independent research and adapt to changing priorities.
• Adhere to safety standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team to deliver accurate, error-free work products.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity in all responsibilities.
