Qualifications

• Be a Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE).
• Have the intent to take and pass the Engineer-in-Training (E.I.T.) exam.
• Be motivated to work hard in order to learn and acquire new skills.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess the ability to use word processing, spreadsheet, and collaboration applications.
• Be organized and have the ability to work with different staff members.
• Apply good time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the roadway team under the direction of Senior Roadway Engineers to perform roadway design for transportation projects.
• Assist with a range of project assignments.
• Engage in design, calculations, and plan development tasks.
• Use CADD software to prepare plan sets for bidding and construction.
• Learn standards and tools of the trade to produce quality deliverables.
• Coordinate your work and school schedule with team members.
