Job summary

Arrow Electric in Louisville, KY is hiring a Maintenance/Installation Technician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of roadway electrical infrastructure including traffic signals and street lighting. You will work under a Foreman or Licensed Electrician, performing field tasks safely and efficiently to meet project specs and KYTC standards.

This hands-on role develops trade skills in electrical and civil roadway infrastructure, with tasks ranging from pulling wires to testing

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction experience preferred (electrical or civil a plus).
• Basic understanding of construction tools and equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and willingness to follow procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation of traffic signal systems and roadway lighting.
• Perform wire pulling, cable placement, and basic terminations under supervision.
• Assist with trenching, excavation, and site preparation.
• Support installation of foundations, anchor bolts, and pole erection.
• Load, unload, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
• Follow layout markings and construction drawings.
