Job summary

A leading engineering company in Raleigh is seeking a project engineer to work on urban and rural roadway projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates must be committed to an employee-owned culture and should be able to use MicroStation and AutoCAD for designs. Qualifications

• EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Roadway Designer'.

Responsibilities

• Work on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
• Take responsibility for alignment, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.
• Assist with technical reports, specifications, and calculations.

Skills

Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD

Ability to develop designs using transportation design software

MS Office experience

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
