Job summary
A leading engineering company in Raleigh is seeking a project engineer to work on urban and rural roadway projects. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field. Candidates must be committed to an employee-owned culture and should be able to use MicroStation and AutoCAD for designs. The ideal candidate will also develop technical reports and manage construction estimates, contributing to significant transportation projects.
Qualifications
EIT certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Roadway Designer'.

Responsibilities
Work on detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
Take responsibility for alignment, geometrics, drainage, and construction estimates.
Assist with technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
Skills
Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
Ability to develop designs using transportation design software
MS Office experience
Education
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
