Job summary

HDR is seeking a Roadway EIT/Coordinator in Colorado to join a collaborative team of project engineers working on urban and rural transportation designs. You will contribute to alignment, drainage, and cost estimates while preparing technical reports and calculations.

You will use MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Bentley/Autodesk software to support federal, state, and local roadway projects, with career progression through EIT certification and design coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field.
• EIT certificate preferred; without it, you may be placed into a Design Coordinator role with progression potential.
• Active participation in our employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects of varying size and complexity.
• Design transportation systems including highways, streets, sidewalks, trails, bike lanes, and ADA/PROWAG facilities for Federal, State, and Local clients.
• Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction cost estimates.
• Support the creation and submission of technical reports, memos, specifications, and calculations.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field

Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
