Job summary

Stantec in Nashville, TN is seeking an Engineer in Training (EIT) to join our Transportation team. You will support roadway engineering across planning, analysis and design, with construction support for diverse clients.

Key duties include data collection, supervised design calculations, hydraulic analyses, roadway modeling and earthwork calculations, plus assisting in preparing plans, drawings and reports.

• Performs data collection to be used as the basis of design
• Performs hydraulic analyses of drainage structures
• Performs roadway modeling to calculate earthwork
• Conducts basic calculations and performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned
• Assists team in preparing plans, drawings, and reports for various clients
• Assist team with plan checking and quantity calculations

Your Opportunity

Stantec is looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) to be a part of our growing Transportation team in our Nashville, TN office. The EIT will be responsible for daily tasks related to Roadway Engineering that include all phases of work from planning to analysis and design, as well as construction support. Responsibilities will include data collection, supervised design calculations, modeling, and plan production for various clients.
