Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Valid Class B CDL.
• Ability to safely operate construction and maintenance equipment.
• Ability to perform strenuous physical labor outdoors.
• Experience in public works or construction preferred.
• Familiarity with roadwork and drainage systems helpful.
• Leadership or crew supervision experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate light and heavy equipment (tractors, backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, graders, loaders, dump trucks, patchers, jetters).
• Assist with road, drainage, sidewalks, and public infrastructure construction/maintenance.
• Support daily crew operations to ensure timely project completion.
• Follow directions from Street Supervisor and Crew Leader.
• Maintain equipment and ensure safe operation at all times.
• May assist with supervising crew activities when directed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
