Job summary

Consor is seeking a Roadway / Drainage Engineer-in-Training (EIT) to support the design and delivery of transportation projects across Arizona. This hybrid role involves collaboration with ADOT, counties, and municipalities, with office days and remote flexibility.

The compensation ranges from $75,000 to $105,000 annually and depends on experience. A growing career path with learning opportunities in roadway and drainage disciplines awaits in Phoenix or Tucson.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• 2-5 years of transportation, roadway, drainage, or civil engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in pursuing Professional Engineer (PE) licensure.

Responsibilities

• Support roadway and drainage design for transportation projects.
• Assist with engineering calculations, analyses, and design development.
• Prepare roadway alignments, profiles, cross-sections, and construction plans.
• Assist with stormwater, drainage, hydrologic, and hydraulic analyses.
• Prepare quantities, cost estimates, exhibits, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with roadway, drainage, traffic, structures, survey, and utility teams.
• Participate in project meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Support project delivery from planning through final design and construction support.
• Assist with quality reviews and adherence to ADOT and local standards.
