Benesch is seeking a Roadway Designer I to join our Civil‑Roadway team in Wisconsin. You will work on transportation projects with state and local agencies, performing modeling, analysis, and designs, and coordinating drafting for various clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related discipline required.
• E.I.T preferred or pursuing P.E.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collect and assimilate data; perform modeling, analysis and design calculations.
• Draw design details under supervision.
• Compute quantities with awareness of pay items and project standards.
• Organize calculations into design files per project standards.
• Coordinate drafting of design elements.
• Perform field/site visits as needed.
• Develop knowledge of applicable codes and CAD standards.
