Bowman Consulting is seeking a Transportation Engineer III to join our team, with flexibility to base out of Boston, Taunton, Westfield, or Lincoln RI. You’ll work on a variety of public and private transportation projects across New England, gaining exposure to roadway and highway design.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of transportation engineering experience, strong CAD skills, and the ability to lead project tasks, QA/QC, and client communications while advancing within a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field required.
• EIT Registration or 6+ years transportation engineering experience required.
• PE Registration within 6 months preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation; knowledge of DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project tasks and provide QA/QC oversight on transportation projects.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to develop plans and proposals.
• Prepare engineering plans, reports, and graphics for meetings.
• Lead with client communication and attend project/public meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development activities.
