Key Responsibilities

• Leading and mentorship of junior staff while managing the completion of multiple roadway design tasks
• Coordination with Project Managers to meet schedule and budget requirements
• Opportunity to be mentored and ultimately take on responsibilities as a Project Manager
• Preparation of accurate presentation, design, details and construction documents
• Preparation of permit applications and submittal packages to agencies having jurisdiction
• Coordination with clients, subconsultants, permitting agencies, utility providers, contractors, and other project parties
• Development and adherence to project scope, schedules, and budgets

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• A minimum of 6 years experience in all technical aspects of roadway design
• Experience in people management or supervision
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer
• PE Certification is required
• Detail-oriented individual with strong technical and organizational skills
• Proficiency in spreadsheets, word processing, and standard industry software
• Works well in multidisciplinary team environments and can meet deadlines
• Strong oral presentation and written communication skills
