RK&K is seeking a Roadway Senior Project Engineer to support Florida projects, combining design and coordination across teams. The role emphasizes roadway widenings, resurfacings, and PD&E studies for FDOT and municipalities. Florida PE and ORD/FDOT standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of roadway design experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Florida.
• Experience with FDOT Connect/Open Roads Designer (ORD).
• Knowledge of FDOT Standard Plans and Florida Design Manual.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze horizontal and vertical alignments.
• Prepare roadway plan set components including plan, profile, cross section, and detail sheets.
• Prepare specifications packages and calculate quantities and estimates.
• Prepare design documentation and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.
• Collaborate with other disciplines on design challenges.
