Job summary

American Structurepoint’s Road Group is offering a summer internship in Evansville, IN for civil engineering students. You’ll gain hands-on experience on roadway projects for INDOT and local agencies, assisting with takeoffs, ORD plan sets, cost estimates, and design documentation.

You'll work in-office with occasional site visits, collaborate with a close-knit team, and build technical skills through real projects, mentorship, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current student majoring in Civil Engineering or related program.
• Reliable transportation to and from the office.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and collaborate.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to roadway design including design calculations, layouts, drainage analysis, plan production, and quantity/cost estimates.
• Gain hands-on experience with 3D modeling and tools such as MicroStation/GEOPAK, Bluebeam, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Participate in projects from roundabouts to urban streets and rural roads.
