Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking Transportation Engineering Interns to contribute to roadways, airports, and other transit projects across local to national scales.

You will support roadway design and construction design teams, assist in basic calculations, CAD drawings, and prepare reports while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative environment. This paid internship runs full-time in Summer 2027 with limited teleworking anticipated, offering mentorship and exposure to

Qualifications

• Education: enrolled in accredited bachelor’s or master’s engineering program.
• Experience with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with Civil/Transportation design tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support roadway design, airport design and structural engineering groups.
• Support roadway construction engineering groups in the field.
• Perform basic calculations and assist in developing engineer's estimates.
• Assist team in preparing CAD drawings and reports.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
