Job summary

WSP USA is offering a Full-Time Summer Roadway Intern position in Lexington, KY, with consideration also given to Louisville. The role is for students enrolled in an undergraduate civil engineering program and runs within a 12-week Summer Internship Program starting May 17, 2027.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date before or in 2027.
• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States at internship start.
• Demonstrated interest in roadway design and transportation engineering and a desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preliminary design calculations and analysis.
• Support preparation of final design plans and cost estimates.
• Provide project documentation support and data gathering.
• Learn and apply roadway design software and standards on active projects.
• Participate in training and mentorship through the Developing Professionals Network.
