Qualifications

• Must have completed 50 hours toward a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program by start of internship.
• Basic understanding of transportation engineering principles and design.
• Computation, math skills and drafting/CAD ability required.
• Computer skills to enter data in spreadsheets or databases.
• Preference for CAD/OpenRoads Designer experience.

Responsibilities

• Gathers, logs and summarizes field notes for studies or projects.
• Establishes and maintains records of technical data.
• Performs mathematical calculations.
• Operates Bentley OpenRoads Designer for routine tasks.
• Assists in preparing graphic displays and presentation materials.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
