Job summary

Selectek is seeking a Roadway Engineer in Raleigh, NC, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in roadway design. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microstation, Geopak, and/or OpenRoads, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. Responsibilities include preparing engineering designs, conducting field observations, and mentoring graduate engineers. A PE or EIT designation with an exam date set is required. Competitive salary starting at $95K+ based on experience.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with roadway design.
• PE or EIT with date set for PE Exam.
• NCDOT project experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete discipline engineering designs including roadway designs.
• Plan and review the production of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Conduct field observations and data collection activities.
• Analyze technical problems and devise new approaches.
• Mentor graduate engineers for increased understanding.
