Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in PA.
• 5–20 years of experience in transportation engineering with focus on roadway design.
• Strong knowledge of DOT design standards and procedures.
• Proficient in industry design software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D).
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage roadway design projects from planning to construction.
• Collaborate with DOT to ensure compliance with state guidelines.
• Prepare and review design plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Conduct traffic analysis and provide solutions to improve transportation efficiency and safety.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, planners, and contractors.
• Manage client relationships and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with technical development.
