Kimley-Horn's South San Francisco office is seeking a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with 2+ years of experience to join the Roadway team. This position is not remote.

You will support project managers across a variety of civil engineering tasks, including alignments, drainage, streetscape improvements, multimodal design, and traffic plans, while receiving on-the-job and formal mentorship and exposure to plan production and client interactions.

Qualificações

• 2+ years experience with a civil engineering design firm.
• ABET-accredited degree in Civil Engineering (Bachelors or Masters).
• "Engineer-In-Training" or "Engineering Intern" certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
• Working knowledge of MicroStation/InRoads/OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet client deadlines
• Detail-oriented with an ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Ability to work independently and as a team

Responsabilidades

• Support project managers with civil engineering tasks and plans.
• Develop horizontal and vertical alignments for roadways.
• Contribute to grading, drainage and streetscape design.
• Assist with multimodal design including trails and complete streets.
• Prepare signage, striping and signalization plans.
• Participate in plan production, project financials, and client interactions
