The successful candidate will contribute to a broad range of FDOT projects, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with top local experts in the transportation industry.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Approximately 3–8 years of progressive experience in transportation design.
• Proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).

Responsibilities

• Develop contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction.
• Perform roadway geometric design, plans production, and technical reports writing.
• Utilize computer software to assist with analysis, design, and plan production for transportation systems.
• Assist with plan alterations and modifications of streets and highways to improve traffic flow.
