ACCIONA is seeking a Roadway Design Engineer to join our team on the SR400 Express Lanes project, a major interstate infrastructure initiative. This role focuses on delivering safe, efficient roadway designs for a high-impact transportation upgrade.

Responsibilities include designing geometry, reviewing plans and specs, coordinating with project managers, environmental specialists, and construction teams, and ensuring designs meet schedule, budget and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 3+ years in roadway design on large infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Knowledge of AASHTO standards and US codes.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Execute roadway geometry design and drainage systems for SR400 Express Lanes.
• Develop and review plans, specs, and estimates for roadway design.
• Coordinate with project managers, environmental specialists, and engineers.
• Perform analyses related to traffic flow and road safety.
• Prepare construction documents and ensure schedule and budget alignment.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote sustainable design practices.
• Stay updated with roadway design standards and technologies.
