Wilson & Company is seeking an entry-level Civil Engineer to support roadway design and modeling using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will coordinate with project teams and assist in preparing design plans and contract documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• EIT Certification or ability to obtain certification.
• 0-3 years’ experience in the design of streets and highways.
• Experience with federal, state, and local regulations for street and highway projects.
• Experience with MicroStation Roadway Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong work ethic and understanding of engineering principles.
• Proven teamwork and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior staff, and clients.

• Ability to manage and develop business client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Perform roadway design and modeling using MicroStation OpenRoads Designer and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate roadway design with Project Managers, Peer Engineers, CADD Team Members, and other project disciplines
• Meet project deadlines for projects throughout Missouri and other regions as needed
• Assist in developing roadway design plans and contract documents
• Work independently while interacting with Wilson & Company team members
• Gain experience in business development and marketing, including attending local industry conferences and seminars
• Manage and develop business client relationships
