Job summary

BGE, Inc. in Texas seeks a civil engineer to support highway/roadway design using MicroStation/OpenRoads. You will develop geometry, plans and details, and ensure compliance with applicable codes on public and private projects.

The ideal candidate has an FE Exam, EIT preferred, and 1–4 years of transportation design experience, plus strong written and verbal communication. This on-site role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Must have passed the FE Exam; EIT or EI preferred.
• 1–4 years of experience as a civil engineer in Transportation/Roadway Design.
• Experience with State DOT and local standards is preferred.
• Knowledge of PS&E Processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads 3D Modeling software.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering for highway/roadway planning and design including geometry, modeling, detailing, and final plan deliverables.
• Interprets codes and adapts standard engineering techniques for project requirements.
• Plans, schedules, and coordinates engineering work with various project features.
