Qualifications

• Serve as a construction project manager for transportation projects, overseeing road, highway, and bridge construction.
• Review, inspect, test and measure contractor work to meet contract requirements.
• Recommend approval and payment for acceptable work, or reject non-conforming work.
• Maintain accurate daily records of site activities and progress reports.
• Analyze schedules and assist with contract changes or modifications when requested by the project engineer.
• Adhere to RockSol's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Overnight travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead field inspection activities for designated road construction projects.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, subconsultants, clients and the traveling public.
• Ensure quality, safety, schedule and budget compliance on projects.
• Produce progress, safety, quality, and schedule reports in line with project requirements.
• Prepare documentation in support of contract change orders or modifications when requested.
• Initiate timely communication of project details and concerns to the project engineer.
• Calculate and estimate quantities and costs of materials for project phases.
• Maintain assigned equipment per company procedures.
• Perform other construction inspection assignments as needed.
